  • Holiday Cookie Potluck
  • Topics: 
    • Stormwater System Overview: Guest Speaker, Kane Osstifin, from the City, will share insights on our city's stormwater system and how residents can contribute to its management.
    • CNA Updates: Vice President, Stuart Olshevki will provide a summary of activities from the CNA meetings
    • The Gleaning Project Proposal: Treasurer, Grace Fletcher will present a proposal for a neighborhood gleaning project, inspired by Food is Free Tacoma, aimed at reducing food waste and addressing food insecurity in our neighborhood.
    • Summer Neighborhood Garage Sale: Guage interest in hosting a neighborhood-wide garage sale, similar to Fircrest's event, potentially combined with our summer picnic featuring food trucks and live music.
    • Election of an Outreach Coordinator: We'll elect a new Outreach Coordinator to lead efforts in: increasing SWONA participation, promoting events and initiatives, and enhancing community engagement and communication. If you're interested in this role, we encourage you to attend the metting or reach out to us to express your interest if you're unable to attend.

For the December 12th meeting, we’ll be hosting a Holiday Cookie Potluck, so please feel free to bring your favorite cookies to share, mingle with your neighbors, and enjoy the festive spirit before the meeting starts! 

Meetings will take place from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Members are welcome to arrive as early as 6:30pm or stay until 8:30pm to chat and connect with one another.

We will provide updates for our meeting topics as we get closer to each date.
