Exciting Neighborhood Events Coming in 2025!
Dear Neighbors,
We’re excited to share some upcoming events that were discussed at our recent meeting! Mark your calendars and get ready to join in the fun.
Neighborhood Garage Sale
When: Summer Solstice Weekend (June 21 & 22, 2025)
Neighbors expressed strong interest in hosting a neighborhood-wide garage sale, separate from the neighborhood picnic.
If you’re planning to have a garage sale, consider scheduling it for this weekend! We plan to market and advertise the event throughout Olympia to attract plenty of buyers.
We’re also reaching out to food truck vendors to see if we can bring a couple to the neighborhood to make it a fun experience for everyone.
Stay tuned for updates as we:
- Gather a list of participating houses.
- Create a Google Map to help buyers easily find garage sales around the neighborhood.
Autumn Equinox Cider Press
When: Tentatively September 20 or 21, 2025
We’re also excited about the idea of hosting an Autumn Equinox Cider Press event! This would be a wonderful way to gather as a community and celebrate the harvest season.
We’re coordinating with one of our sister neighborhood associations to confirm borrowing their cider press, so stay tuned for final details.
Both events are great opportunities to connect with neighbors and build our community spirit. Keep an eye out for more updates as plans come together!
