Front yard “singout” in west olympia August 22, starring YOU and your neighbors

Hello southwest Olympians!
In lieu of our annual SWONA picnic, we’re trying something new, and socially distanced.
On Saturday, August 22nd, let’s all head to our front yards and do some singing. Or playing guitar. Or violin. Whatever you want to play! - OR - wander around the neighborhood and do some listening! (Just please wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart)
We’re calling this event West by Southwest (WxSW) in a nod to the famous Austin, TX music festival, and in tribute to our special SW Oly neighborhood. We’re loosely planning for 6 pm - 7:30 pm.
You don’t have to be a professional musician, you don’t need an audience. This is just an opportunity to spread some joy for an hour and a half on a beautiful summer night. An easy way for us to “be” together during these stressful times.
