SWONA Gleaning Project

We are thrilled to share that we received positive feedback about starting a Gleaning Project in our neighborhood! This initiative aims to reduce food waste and provide fresh produce to neighbors in need while fostering stronger community connections.

How You Can Participate

• Volunteer as a Picker: Help harvest fruits and vegetables from local yards.
• "Donate" Edible Trees/Plants: Share your fruit trees, bushes, or other edible plants that you don’t plan to harvest yourself.
